The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has announced different HEC scholarship 2025. HEC scholarship 2025 PhD (US–Pakistan Knowledge Corridor)
This is one of the main scholarship programs of 2025. It gives Pakistani students a chance to do PhD in top universities of the United States (QS World Top 300).

- Spring/Summer 2026 Deadline: November 15, 2025

International Research Fellowship
HEC is also offering a six-month research fellowship for PhD students studying in Pakistan. Through this, students can go abroad, work in advanced labs, and gain international research experience. It also helps them connect with foreign professors and researchers.
HEC Need-Based Scholarship (Local)
For students studying in Pakistani universities, HEC offers need-based scholarships. These scholarships cover tuition fees and living expenses. Students can apply through the Financial Aid Office of their university.
Commonwealth Scholarship 2025 (UK)
In partnership with the United Kingdom, HEC is managing the Commonwealth Scholarship 2025. It is a fully funded scholarship for MS and PhD students in the UK. It includes:

Scotland–Pakistan Scholarship for Young Women 2025
This scholarship is specially for Pakistani women, supported by the British Council. It is available for undergraduate and master’s studies in fields like health, education, climate change, food security, and STEM. It covers tuition fees, hostel expenses, and travel costs.
